The S.C. Strawberry Festival gets into full swing tonight and carries on through Saturday night, with live music, pig races, wrestling and – of course – strawberries.

Unless you’re planning to attend the festival, Fort Mill police are asking you to find another route around the town.

On Friday and Saturday, portions of S.C. 160 between Old Nation Road and McCammon Street will be closed, starting 5 p.m. Friday and will reopen after midnight Saturday.

Travelers should use the truck route, around the town of Fort Mill, instead.

In addition, people traveling in the area should be prepared for traffic delays and congestion on S.C. 160 at Interstate 77 and U.S. 21 North, and on Gold Hill Road at Interstate 77.
