Rock Hill DMV office to close for renovations

The state Department of Motor Vehicles office on Hands Mill Road in Rock Hill will be closed June 16-20 for renovations. The office will re-open on June 23.

The renovations will provide an additional 1,200 square-feet of office space, a larger lobby area and four more customer service work stations. A separate room for testing will be added, as well as a second camera station.

The entire facility will be 100 percent compliant with the American Disabilities Act.

While the Hands Mill office is closed, Rock Hill customers can go to DMV offices at 3071 U.S. 21, Fort Mill, or 508 Belt Road, Chester. Rock Hill DMV employees will work at those offices during the closure.
