CORRECTION: Victim in Fort Mill fatal crash failed to yield right of way, police say

A Fort Mill woman who died from injuries suffered in a June 11 crash failed to yield the right of way when she pulled out from a driveway into the path of a Jeep driving on Gold Hill Road, according to a Highway Patrol incident report.

Heraldonline.com incorrectly reported June 17 that the other driver, whom police did not immediately identify, was at fault.

Virginia Yeager, 86, died June 15 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, York County Coroner Sabrina Gast said.
