A Rock Hill native will appear on this third episode of the television game show, “Jeopardy!” tonight and try to increase his winnings even more.

Campbell Warner, who graduated from Rock Hill High School in 2000, has won more than $37,000 on the show so far.

Warner has always had a good memory, said his mother, Martha Warner. When the family watched “Jeopardy!” when he was young, he always beat the rest of his family members, all teachers, to the answer.

“(Host Alex Trebek) wouldn't even finish reading the question and Campbell would be popping out the answer,” Martha Warner said.

While the episodes of “Jeopardy!” were taped earlier this year, Campbell Warner has been sworn to secrecy, so no one knows how long he’ll continue winning on the show.

“We’re hoping for a hat trick,” Martha Warner said about his third appearance on Thursday.

Following high school, Campbell Warner attended LaSalle University, then Baylor Law School. Since he attended school on an ROTC scholarship, he went into the United States Army, where he’s now a captain and JAG officer. He and his wife just transferred to Fort Jackson in Columbia.
