Rock Hill will hold its last five farmers markets of the season this month and celebrate August as South Carolina’s “Farmer’s Market Month.”

The Old Town Farmers Market is held every Thursday and Saturday until Aug. 28. Thursday markets run from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday markets run from 9 a.m. to noon.

This year, organizers added tip sessions with the Master Gardeners of York County. Every market includes live music, kids activities and fresh meats and produce for sale.

Rock Hill’s market also features locally-made arts and crafts.

Vendors set up at the Old Town Market Hall on Caldwell Street in downtown Rock Hill. Admission is free. Payment options include cash, credit card and SNAP benefits for food purchases.
