One person has died in a Rock Hill house fire, said Mark Simmons, deputy chief of the Rock Hill Fire Department.
Around 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, officials responded to a fire at 519 Annafrel Street in Rock Hill, Simmons said.
Responders were able to remove the one female occupant from the home, he said.
The occupant is identified as Theresa Cooper on the Rock Hill Fire Department’s report.
She was flown to the Burn Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., where she died due to her injuries, Simmons said.
The fire started in the bedroom of the home and damaged the bedroom and the attic, Simmons said.
