Who did it and what weapon did he or she use?
Local residents will help solve that mystery as they bring the game of CLUE to life on the stage.
Auditions for “Clue the Musical” continue at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Rock Hill Community Theater, 546 S. Cherry Rd., Suite N.
The show, directed by Mike Collins, is seeking five men and three women.
Never miss a local story.
Characters include playful host Mr. Bobby, manipulative socialite Mrs. Peacock, astute intellectual Professor Plum, shrewd Miss Scarlet, pompous Col. Mustard, the fun-loving maid Mrs. White, slick Mr. Green and a hard-nosed, humorous female Detective.
The musical will follow a murder mystery as Mr. Bobby is killed. It will be up to the audience to piece together clues and discover who killed him, with what weapon and in which room, Collins said.
By random selection of character, weapon and room cards, the audience will determine each night the outcome, Collins said.
“Depending on what the audience has chosen, the show changes every single night,” he said.
No one but Mr. Bobby, who will provide clues throughout the show, will know how the show will end, Collins said.
“Clue the Musical” will also feature songs about the characters, murder and mayhem.
Callbacks are 7 p.m. Thursday.
The show will run Oct. 20-22 and 26-29. Shows are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sundays.
