York County launched Thursday its newly-redesigned YorkCountyGov.com website, which features a user-friendly design on desktop and mobile devices.
Other features include a county calendar with meeting and event dates, a spotlight feature showcasing current county initiatives, and accessible information on issues such as paying taxes or locating departments.
“Designed with residents in mind,” said York County Manager Bill Shanahan, “the newly redesigned website aims to connect residents with elected officials and staff, while providing more efficient and effective customer service.”
The website redesign was led by York County County Information Technology Department and Public Information Officer Trish Startup. The county has now launched three newly-redesigned websites, including the government website, Sheriff’s Office site and Pennies for Progress site.
