A break-in has York police searching for more than $376,000 in stolen metal, according to a York police report.
The break-in happened at a warehouse off Kings Mountain Street sometime between Feb. 14 and 16, the report states.
Burglars broke a window to enter the building.
They stole hundreds compression boxes, culverts and other steel, bronze and brass metal fittings, the report states. The items, likely stolen for their scrap value, are valued at more than $376,000 in a retail situation, police say. The case is under investigation.
