A York woman faces assault charges after she allegedly attacked a Huddle House waitress in York, according to a York Police report.
The report states Erica Hughes, 22, of York was arrested around 5:30 a.m. April 16 outside the Huddle House diner off East Liberty Street. Police were called to the scene to investigate an altercation. They determined Hughes and two friends argued with a waitress about whether or not a $20 bill had been placed on the table to pay for food that was ordered, the report states.
Witnesses told police Hughes became irate during the argument and struck one of the waitresses, according to the report. Police charged Hughes with assault and disorderly conduct.
