A York teenager wound up in the hospital early Wednesday after an older woman cut her with a box cutter during a fight in a Rock Hill parking lot.
Just after midnight, police were sent to Piedmont Medical Center, where the girl, 17, said she and a friend were driving in York when they passed a gas station and noticed a 20-year-old woman she’s fought with in the past, the report states. The teen, who drove the car, started to argue with the woman through her car’s window while they were both driving.
This continued, police say, until they reached Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill. The older woman, the report states, drove her car in front of the girl’s and began to “brake repeatedly.”
The girl said she believed the woman did this so she would follow her to fight, the report states. She did and met with the woman in the parking lot of an Ebenezer Road business.
The two women began fighting until the older woman cut the girl’s right hand and left shoulder with a box cutter, the report states. Police determined that both women were “mutual combatants.”
