New Beginnings to host health insurance forum
The event will be at the church, 706 Old N. Main St., Clover. Representatives from the North Central Family Medical Center in Rock Hill will talk about the new federal program and the cost of health insurance coverage.
Computers and Internet access will be available for those who want to sign up for coverage or who need assistance in signing up.
The event is free and open to the community.
5K race planned for Relay for Life
The event, a benefit for the American Cancer Society, will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 12, and the route will begin at the church and go through a residential part of York.
Early packet pickup will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 11 in the church fellowship hall. Race-day registration and packet pickup will be from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Clover native gets Rotary honor
Sipe, who retired to Hendersonville, N.C., 15 years ago with his wife, Dorothy, also was named a Paul Harris Fellow, made a life member of the club and received the Four-Way Test Award, presented to Rotarians who best demonstrate service and integrity in their lives.
Sipe is a 1953 graduate of Clover High School.
