The York Comprehensive High School boys’ track team extended Rock Hill to the limit Monday at York, but the Bearcats prevailed, 74-67.
The following Cougars had first-place finishes:
Shuler Littlejohn, discus, 141 feet; Josh Moss, shot put, 39 feet 11 inches; Kyron Schrouder, triple jump, 43 feet, long jump, 20 feet 10 inches; Jesse Dillhyon, pole vault; Matt Ransom, 400 meter, 54.45; Kamian McClain, 110 meter-hurdles, 18.02.
The 4-by-400 relay team finished first to close out the track meet with a time of 3 minutes, 41 seconds. Team members were Markell Castle, Tra Reid, Cole Rumfelt and Matt Ransom.

The boys’ track team also competed in the Diamond Hornet Invitational at Lower Richland High School over the weekend. Top performers were Jesse Dillhyon, who placed second in the pole vault at 12 feet, 6 inches; and Shuler Littlejohn, who finished fifth in the discus with a throw of 118 feet, 2 inches.
Kinleigh Wilkerson finished sixth in the shot put in the girls’ meet, competing against more than 40 others as a 10th-grader.
