Former Clover High School quarterback Aaron Miller, a prime contributor to the Blue Eagles’ successful run in 4A football, has impacted The Citadel football program in a big way.
While completing two of 10 passes, Miller was a punishing runner in the Bulldogs’ narrow 20-18 loss to Charleston Southern.
Miller, who became one of the most prolific quarterbacks in Blue Eagle football history, pounded the Charleston Southern defense for 120 yards rushing in the closely-contested game.
The Clover signal-caller has emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the Southern Conference.
• Former Blue Eagle standout Ahlija Blake continues to contribute as a member of the Tusculum football team.
Blake was credited with a tackle for Tusculum in the team’s down-to-the-wire 38-35 loss to North Greenville.
