ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Beatrice A. Dunham, 72, of 514 Lucky Court died May 6, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1935, in York County, to the late Joseph Anderson and the late Florence Walker. She attended Emmett Scott High School. She joined Liberty Hill Baptist Church at an early age and later joined Harmony United Methodist Church and was president of the United Methodist Women, a member of the usher board and a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of Weeping Mary Order of Eastern Star Chapter 112 and AP&B Society 13.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dunham. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Dunham of Edgemoor, S.C.; sons, Randy Anderson of Rock Hill, S.C., and Jerry Dunham of Edgemoor; sisters, Sarah Wherry of Rock Hill and Emma Thompson of New York; brothers, Joseph Anderson of Edgemoor, James Anderson of Rock Hill and Charles Anderson of New York; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Viewing only today, May 9, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. and May 10, 2008, from 9 a.m. to noon at Parker Funeral Home. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Harmony United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Horace White officiating, the Rev. Harvey Dickson and the Rev. Alexander assisting and the Rev. Johnnie Caldwell delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
