Clover Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Clover, was the setting Saturday, April 18, 2009, for the marriage of Lori JoAnna Baird and Thomas Owen Myers, both of Columbia.
The Rev. Evan Barrett English officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at The Palmetto Room at Historic Old Town, Rock Hill.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henry Baird of Clover. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Naomi Barrett Baird of Clover, the late Mr. William Samuel Baird, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jackson Wyatt of Clover, and the late Mrs. Geraldine Holcombe Wyatt.
Lori is a 2001 Clover High School graduate and a 2005 Erskine College graduate having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. While working toward earning a Master of Early Childhood Special Education degree, Lori is a teacher at Children's Center at the University of South Carolina.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Banks Myers, Camden. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Calvin Myers of Columbia and the late Dr. and Mrs. James Macdonald, III.
Thomas is a 2000 Camden High School graduate and a 2004 Clemson University graduate having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management. He is employed with Hoffman McClain Consulting.
The bride's father and mother gave her in marriage.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Carin Elizabeth Baird. Maid of honor was Miss Lori Frances Ward. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Margaret Christina DiBiase, Miss Casey Alexandra Frontz, Miss Mary Anne Parker, Miss Amy Lee Rivard, Miss Elizabeth Marshall Ward, Miss Bonita Faye Wyatt and Miss Courtney Elizabeth Wyatt.
Best men were Mr. Thomas Banks Myers, Mr. Jordan Macdonald Myers and Mr. Patrick Jenkins Myers.
Groomsmen were Mr. William Slade Baird, Mr. John Moultrie Burns III, Mr. Angelo Robert DiBiase, Mr. Gabriel Gene DiBiase, Mr. Kevin Patrick Donlan, Mr. William Adam Mischner and Mr. Luke Henderson Scheuer.
Scripture readers were Miss Madeline Nichole Mishue and Mr. Charles Devin Eakes Jr.
Musicians were Mrs. Carin Elizabeth Baird, soloist; Miss Courtney Elizabeth Wyatt, trumpeter; and Mrs. Kay Douglas Nivens, organist/pianist.
Guest registrar was Mrs. Elizabeth Love Wyatt. Program attendants were Miss Elizabeth Alexander Harkness and Miss Margaret Wilds Harkness.
Wedding director was Ms. Dale Elizabeth Barattini.

After their honeymoon at Mayan Riviera, Mexico, the newlyweds will reside in Columbia.
