History column: Do you remember?

1996: Retired Air Force Col. Mary Bailes, a 1954 Fort Mill High School graduate, spoke at the Annual Memorial Day service at Flint Hill Baptist Church. 1916: President Wilson addressed thousands of area citizens, including many from Fort Mill, during a stop in Charlotte.
