Holidays at the Garden, through Dec. 31, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 S. New Hope Road, Belmont. 500,000 lights accent natural displays. In the Visitor Pavilion is a 16-foot orchid tree stands, and a coffee bar with cocoa, lattes and espressos. Children can visit Santa Thursday-Sunday and daily beginning Dec. 11. Vernon Grant’s Winter Frolic exhibit, through Dec. 28, Center for the Arts, 121 E. Main St., Rock Hill. Renowned illustrator and creator of Kellogg’s Snap! Crackle! Pop!, Grant built his reputation on his signature gnomes, jolly Santas and his whimsical approach to illustration. Along with Grant’s favorite subject, Santa Claus, this year’s exhibit features skiers, snowmen and winter scenes.
