River Hills Lions Club
The River Hills Lions Club will be participating in the 2009 Walk-to-Cure Diabetes April 18 and will be walking in honor of two local students who have diabetes -- Ashley Pettus and Matthew Kuehler.
The group also will walk in memory of Matthew's 12-year-old cousin, Max Corrada, who died last month from complications of diabetes.
Donations may be sent to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, P.O. Box 5016, Lake Wylie, SC 29710 or visit JDRF.org (go to the NC Walk, donate to a Walker, "River Hills Lions/Lions Strutters").
