Benefit concert Friday at Wylie
LAKE WYLIE -- River Hills Community Church hosts Kevin Gray in concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the Life Center, 104 Hamilton's Ferry Road.
Gray will perform a variety of music from classical to rock 'n' roll during the benefit concert to raise money for global and local missions.
Donation requested is $1. Baked goods will be for sale.

Mission Conference runs three days
CLOVER -- Dr. Michael A. Milton, president and professor of practical theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, will speak at the annual Missions Conference Sunday service at 10:55 a.m. Sunday at Bethel Presbyterian Church.
His sermon, "Called to be Taught; Taught to be Sent," comes from Mark 6:7-13.
However, Bethel Presbyterian Church's Mission Conference begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. with a Women's Dinner and presentation from Bethany Christian Services, as well as a report on northern Mexico from Ruth Garza.
Activities continue Saturday with a pancake breakfast at 9:15 a.m. and an international (potluck) dinner at 6 p.m., which will feature mercy ministries in Latin America, church planting in Heidelberg, Germany, and a report from northern Mexico. Friday and Saturday events will be held in the Family Life Center.

Yard/bake sale set for Saturday
LAKE WYLIE -- The Good Samaritan United Methodist Women will hold a yard/bake sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 in the fellowship building at 5220 Crowders Cove Lane.

Waffle breakfast, egg hunt Sunday
FORT MILL -- Lake Wylie Lutheran Church will host a Waffle Breakfast and Resurrection Egg Hunt from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at 2906 S.C. 160 W., Fort Mill.
Children ages 3 to sixth grade may bring their own baskets for the hunt, or bags will be provided. Following the hunt, dye Easter eggs and do a little coloring.

CLOVER -- Clover Wesleyan Church, 102 Parkview Lane, hosts Kay Ness, a neurodevelopmentalist certified by International Christian Association of Neurodevelopmentalists, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 2.
Ness has evaluated and designed home programs for families with children with problems ranging from severe brain injury, autism, Down Syndrome, PDD, ADD, ADHD, learning disabilities, dyslexia, visual and auditory processing problems, normal and accelerated, from birth to people in their 90s.
