BELMONT -- The 25th annual GaribaldiFest will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Stowe Park.
The park will be filled with arts and crafts, displays, food, children's activities and music. More than 95 vendors will display merchandise.
Groups such as R.O's BBQ, Funnel Cake by Diane, Pop's Shaved Ice, The Grill Sergeant, Hound Dog & Hotties and Funnel Cakes by Pam will be selling a variety of foods and desserts. Belmont Historical Society, Keep Belmont Beautiful, Southpoint Family Practice and other nonprofit organizations will be set up, along with arts and crafts vendors and businesses including Kid's Play, Lennar Homes, Southern Creations and Art Unique Design.
The children's area will have inflatables such as Circus Inflatable Train, Robinson Crusoe Tree House Slide and Kiddie Korral, and games and prizes.

All-day wristbands cost $5 each.
Performances will be held in the gazebo including Explosion Martial Arts demo at 11 a.m., Carolina Dance Explosion performing at noon, Barbie's Encore Dance Production on stage at 1 p.m., Dance Specialties routines at 2 p.m., The Carolina Academy of Arts will take the stage at 3 p.m., and local resident Elisha McGonagle will sing at 3:30 p.m. At 4:15 p.m., the Shades of Blue will take the stage.
During the festival, Main St will be closed from Myrtle Street to Airline Street. Traffic will be detoured using McLeod Street, Hawthorne Avenue and Airline Street.
