Lydia Mae Boyd Fant, 91, of Anderson, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 6, 2009.
The funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 9, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson and was conducted by the Rev. Jason Finley.
Mrs. Fant was the wife of the late James Hay Fant Jr. She was born in Fort Mill on March 30, 1917, and was the daughter of the late Carrie Culp Boyd and William Langdon Boyd. She lived in Anderson for 38 years prior to being a resident of the Presbyterian Home in Clinton for the last 10 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Fant is survived by two sons, James H. Fant III and his wife, Karen Fant, of Heathrow, Fla., and William B. Fant and his wife, Nancy Fant, of Greenville; four grandchildren, Whitney Fant Bayliss and her husband, Rod Bayliss, of Longwood, Fla., Kendall Fant Snyder and her husband, Nate Snyder, of Simpsonville, Lindsay Fant Mauldin and her husband, Scott Mauldin, of Maitland, Fla., and Cayce Fant Finley and her husband, Jason Finley, of Seneca; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Fant was predeceased by her sister, Jack Boyd Simpson.

Mrs. Ann M. Opitz of Tega Cay died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mrs. Jane Vine Vokes, 84, of Rock Hill, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Fort Mill. The family will receive friends before and after the memorial service.
