SCDOT want’s public’s feedback
Residents who want to give suggestions to the South Carolina Department of Transportation and get more information about the SCDOT’s long-range plan are invited to attend a public meeting Sept. 17 in Rock Hill.
The meeting will be held 5-7 p.m. in the Second Floor Conference Room at Manchester Meadows, 337 Mt. Gallant Road, Rock Hill. The meeting will have a drop-in format with displays of the draft plan available for viewing. A brief presentation will be given at the beginning of the meeting, after which SCDOT representatives and consultants will be available to discuss the draft plan with interested residents.
The Sept. 17 meeting is one of seven regional meetings held across the state in September to engage the public and provide residents an opportunity to review and submit written comments on the SCDOT’s long-range plan.
For more information, call SCDOT Statewide Planning Chief Mark Pleasant at 803-737-1437. An interpreter will be available for Spanish-speaking individuals who wish to review the draft plans. Persons with disabilities who may require special accommodations should call Pleasant.
A draft of the SCDOT's long-range plan is available for public review and comment until Sept. 25 at scdot.org/inside/public_comment_multimodal.aspx.
