The Fort Mill High Yellow Jackets built a 21-0 lead by halftime then cruised to a 70-34 victory at Greenville Friday. With the win, the Jackets are off to their first 3-0 start since 1998.
Fort Mill quarterback Rogan Wells tossed three touchdown passes, going 11-14 for 249 yards. The first TD pass came just over a minute-and-a-half into the game, 59-yarder to Brandon Plyler. An on-side kick recovery ignited another Jackets drive and after Wells found Chandler Kryst for a 15-yeard score, Fort Mill led 14-0 midway through the opening quarter.
The Jackets then scored on a 20-yard run by Wells and never looked back.
