Rock Hill police arrested two men in separate marijuana-related incidents on St. Patrick‘s Day, according to reports.

Police responding to a call about a suspicious person on Waterford Glen Way arrested Joshua Taylor Stewart, 17, of Rockwell N.C. He was charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute after police found him with more than 30 grams of the drug on Monday morning.

According to the report, officers found 7 grams of marijuana and a pipe in Stewart’s front pocket, then found a shoe box containing 27 grams of the drug in tin foil packets and a clear bag.

Stewart told police he was visiting his girlfriend and were planning to smoke the drug at her home. Officers also confiscated more than $100 in cash and a cell phone from Stewart, who was booked at Moss Justice Law Center.

Also Monday, police arrested Keith James Hardy, 27, after officers recovered more than 25 grams of the drug in his car. He was charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute.

The report states that police stopped Hardy after he was speeding near the Target on Springsteen Road in Rock Hill. The officer noticed two marijuana cigarettes on the floor of the car by Hardy’s feet.

Police found a Crown Royal bag with 25 grams of marijuana and a black digital scale underneath the driver’s seat. A review of Hardy’s cell phone also showed he had sent several text messages advertising the various grades and amounts of marijuana he had for sale including “pine, reggie, and loud marijuana.”

More than $100 in cash was also seized from Hardy.
