York home hit by 10 bullets

A York home was hit by at least 10 bullets during a shooting the morning of March 23, according to police.

A woman reported three bullet holes in her house on Mighty Joe Trail after her neighbors told her they heard gunshots nearby at around 6 a.m. on March 23, according to a York police report. The woman was not home during the incident.

When police arrived on scene, they found 10 bullets: five that hit the house outside, three inside the house and another two lodged in a wall, the report states.

One of the bullets pierced a couch and was recovered by a 21-year-old man who lives in the house and was present during the shooting. Another 21-year-old resident also was home during the incident.
