Police arrested three teens involved in a brawl in York Wednesday night, according to a report.

Wardarious Donquiese Brown, 18, and Marquiose Lawan Mayfield, 19, were arrested for assault and battery, unlawful carrying of a pistol and possession of a stolen pistol, according to York Police.

A third suspect, a 16-year-old female, also was arrested. The fight took place at the corner of California Street and Cleveland Avenue.

Brown and Mayfield, both from York, and the unidentified female, reportedly were involved in a fight that included two other females, age 15 to 16, who were listed as victims.

According to the report, police found one of the female teens with a black eye. She told police she had been fighting another student from school.

Brown got involved in the fight and is accused of handing off a gun to Mayfield shortly before police arrived at the scene. Mayfield allegedly was walking away from the scene towards Congress Street.

Both Mayfield and Brown were sent to York County Detention Center. The unidentified minor was released to her parents.
