A man was shot in the leg and several cars dented with bullets during an early-morning party at a Chester County man’s home Sunday, deputies said.
Deputies responded to a Richburg Road home at about 12:35 a.m. after a man reported that someone began shooting a gun into the air at his party, according to a Chester County Sheriff’s news release. The first deputy to arrive on scene noted a large crowd of people trying to leave the area.
Deputies found several empty shell casings on the ground, and saw that several cars had been damaged by gunfire, the release states. A man, whose name and age were not available, suffered from a gunshot wound in the leg and was taken to a hospital in Lancaster.
Authorities are still investigating.
