A Rock Hill woman was jailed this week after police say she attacked her boyfriend with a butter knife and then bit him after she claims he punched and choked her.

Monday at a Hardin Street home, a man, 22, told police that his girlfriend, Danielle Davina Lucas, 20, scratched and attacked him with a butter knife, according to a Rock Hill police report. He told officers he was packing his stuff to leave. Lucas kept grabbing him, so he “just gently pushed her to the side,” the report states.

That’s when Lucas bit him on his right forearm and began scratching him, the report states. The man told police he tried defending himself from Lucas, but she grabbed a butter knife from the kitchen, chased him and the knife “made contact” with the boyfriend’s left shoulder.

Lucas told police that her boyfriend punched her in her chest and choked her, the report states. Police did not observe any visible injuries on Lucas’ body, but the boyfriend had scratches and a bite mark on his right forearm. The man told police he just wanted to leave and he did not want his girlfriend to go to jail.

Still, officers arrested Lucas, charging her with criminal domestic violence. The boyfriend refused to fill out any statements and became uncooperative with officers, the report states.
