Police: Rock Hill teen charged with gun possession after driving 80 mph on city road

An 18-year-old Rock Hill man was arrested on a charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon Monday morning after driving 80 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to a police report.
Antonio Ladarius McCleod allegedly was driving 60 mph in a 30 mph zone near the southern part of Crawford Road before officers were able to catch up with him after he sped off at 80 mph on Ogden Road, the report states. After police received permission to search the vehicle, a .40-caliber pistol was found under the driver seat.
Officers charged McCleod with the weapon violation but did not charge him for any traffic violations, the report states.
