Third suspect in Rock Hill break-in, armed robbery arrested

One of the five suspects in an armed robbery incident from July was arrested this weekend.

Three out of five alleged robbers to break into a Rock Hill apartment have now been arrested.

Rock Hill police arrested Adam Jarod Jones, 19, in connection with a July 21 incident on Booker Washington Street, according to police reports.

The victims, a man and woman, told officers that five people kicked in the back door of their apartment. One of the men held a shotgun to the male victim’s head, while another held a pistol to the female victim’s head.

That person yelled, “Where is the money,” and the female victim handed over all the money she had.

Although the robbers had black bandanas around their faces, the victims were able to recognize Laderris Tyrell Robinson, 25, who was found during a traffic stop the next day. He was charged with burglary, unlawful carrying of a pistol and criminal conspiracy.

One day later, police issued warrants for Donna Marie White, 22, in connection with the alleged robbery. She was discovered after a shoplifting incident at the Newport Walmart. White was charged with shoplifting, armed robbery, burglary and criminal conspiracy. She is at the York County Detention Center on a $65,000 bond.

Jones, who was arrested on Saturday afternoon at the same location were the robbery took place, has been charged with armed robbery, burglary and criminal conspiracy. Bond was denied for both Jones and Robinson.
