Car shot by BB gun on Celanese Road in Rock Hill

Someone with a BB gun shot at a motorist on Wednesday night on Celanese Road, according to a Rock Hill police report.

The incident happened around midnight. The woman whose car was shot at told police that a group of people were sitting in a car in the middle turn lane of the highway, just west of Automall Parkway, when a BB gun pellet struck the front of her car.

She was not injured but the pellet caused $500 worth of damage to her car’s fender, the report states. No arrests have been made.
