A Rock Hill mother was arrested after threatening to stab and kill her son after he came home late from a football game, police say.

Vashon Perry, 35, was upset with her 16-year-old son after he missed curfew Friday night. She also suspected him of using marijuana, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

Perry wanted to kick her son out of their Eisenhower Road home after she said he began disrespecting her. When officers arrived, they noticed a serrated knife on the couch. The report states that Perry threatened to stab and kill her son if he disrespected her again.

Perry was charged with unlawful conduct towards a child, the report states.
