Three men were shot early Saturday morning after a disturbance at a Waffle House in Lancaster, according to a news release issued Monday afternoon by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Two 20-year-old men and a 21-year-old man left the Waffle House on Hwy. 9 Bypass after a disturbance involving a large crowd sometime before 4 a.m. While traveling south on the bypass, an unknown suspect in a sport utility vehicle began shooting at the victims’ car.
All three men inside the vehicle suffered gunshot wounds, so they drove to the emergency room. Two of the victims had serious wounds but were in stable condition, while the third victim was in critical condition and flown to another hospital.
Lancaster Police responded to the Waffle House to disperse the crowd just before the shooting, the release states.
