A husband has been charged with criminal domestic violence and assault and battery after threatening to shoot his alleged crack smoking wife and her friends, police say.
Edwin Wilson, 35, accused his wife of smoking crack with their two live-in friends and he barred her from being with them. An argument escalated, and police were dispatched to their Plaxico Road home and placed Wilson in handcuffs.
One of the Wilson’s residents told police that Wilson tried to shoot him, the report states. Wilson, still in handcuffs, tried kicking the man after that accusation.
The victim said Wilson took a Browning 9mm gun from the safe and shot it through the living room, the report states.
The victim, seeing that Wilson was being arrested, refused to cooperate any further with police. She locked the 9mm back into the safe. Police secured a search warrant and seized the gun to place into evidence.
Wilson was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, third degree assault and battery, and a breach of peace. He was booked Saturday night and released from York County Detention Center Monday morning.
