A Rock Hill man accused of having sex with a teenager turned himself in Wednesday morning, a Rock Hill Police report states.
A 15-year-old girl was brought back to her father after running away on Aug. 18. During their search, York County Sheriff’s detectives allegedly found a cell phone with video of the victim engaging in sexual activity, officials say.
The suspect was identified as Demetric Houze, 22, on Sept. 9, the report states. The alleged sexual activity took place at a Rhea Street address at an unknown date.
Houze agreed to meet with police Wednesday morning at the Rock Hill Police Department after being told of his warrants via telephone. He was served warrants for third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
He is being held at the York County Detention Center on a $26,000 bond.
