Police are investigating after a local chiropractic clinic was burglarized late Tuesday night.
Nathaniel Robinson told police that three people broke into the Hughes Chiropractic Clinic on East White Street around 8:30 p.m. One of the suspects was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, according to a Rock Hill police report.
Police observed a concrete landscaping block in front of the door, with broken glass all around. The door frame was lying inside the floor, the report states.
Robinson lives across the street from the clinic and went to call police once he saw the burglary in process.
“When they breached the door, the alarm rang,” he said, adding the burglars left with nothing in their hands.
“I’m going to keep my eyes and ears open,” Robinson said. “We have a good community with good people. We can’t sit idle when things like this happen.”
The owner, Dr. Hughes, said that it appeared nothing was taken or missing from the clinic, but officers still advised him to take a thorough search of the inventory.
