A York man is accused of using a fake ID to withdraw money from a Rock Hill bank, police say.
Anthony Kennedy, 59, walked into the Wells Fargo bank on East Main Street Tuesday afternoon and asked to withdraw $400. The bank teller noticed that the ID card he used was fake. Kennedy filled out the withdrawal slip and signed it as another person, a Rock Hill police report states.
After the bank teller called police, officers arrived at the bank and found Kennedy outside the front entrance. He told officers his real name, and Kennedy was arrested.
He was charged with identity fraud and forgery.
