A Rock Hill man is accused of shooting at his pregnant ex-girlfriend Monday during an argument.
The 20-year-old victim told police De’Myron Lakota Blake, 20, shot a revolver at her as she was driving away, a Rock Hill Police report states.
The victim, who is six months pregnant with Blake’s child, told police she went to Blake’s Mays Court house Monday morning to confirm whether or not he was attending their child’s doctor appointment.
An argument began and Blake reportedly hit her in the face, she told police. She reportedly told him not to worry about his son anymore, and left.
Blake followed her and pointed a revolver at her vehicle and fired. He reportedly fired twice, hitting her front left tire and front bumper, the report states.
As the victim pulled off from the Mays Court residence, Blake allegedly approached her vehicle in a Ford Focus and struck her driver’s side window with the butt of the revolver, the report states.
The woman was not injured in the incident.
She sped off before Blake could do anything else, she told police.
Blake was later found walking on a path next to Mays Court where the victim said the shooting occured, the report states. He told police that there was no shooting and that he was coming from his aunt’s house.
Blake stated that the victim came to his house and hit him in the face, the report states.
Due to the victim’s vehicle having a bullet hole in the bumper and a flat tire, Blake was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence high and aggravated nature, discharging a firearm into a dwelling, and possession of firearm in commission of violent crime.
Blake is held at the Rock Hill jail on a $120,000 bond.
