A man wanted in Rock Hill who allegedly broke into vehicles and stole miscellaneous items was arrested by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and brought to Rock Hill this week.
On Nov. 9, a 45-year-old woman reported to police that someone shattered the front passenger window of her 2006 Dodge Charger, according to a Rock Hill police report.
An iPad and Garmin GPS were taken from the glove box, police say. Her other belongings were not taken and were seized by police to search for fingerprints.
On Nov. 10, a 20-year-old victim reported to police that someone entered her 2011 Honda and stole her diamond engagement king and a mailbox key.
Police later identified Anthony Michael Lago, 27, as a suspect. He was booked at the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and charged with receiving stolen goods.
He was transported to the Rock Hill jail and served warrants for breaking and entering auto and receiving stolen goods. He is held at the York County Detention Center on a $35,000 bond.
