Five teens were recently arrested in connection with eight burglaries at the baseball and football concession stands at Nation Ford High School.
Between March 30 and Oct. 17, the athletic complex on A.O. Jones Boulevard was burglarized eight times, with approximately $7,600 in property damage s and $2,000 in merchandise theft, according to Maj. Bryan Zachary of the Fort Mill Police Department.
After an investigation, the teens were arrested. They face a combined 63 charges including burglary, criminal conspiracy, malicious damage to property and petty larceny, Zachary said in a news release.
Four of the suspects are 16-year-olds from Fort Mill who attend Nation Ford High, according to Zachary. The fifth is a 15-year-old from Aiken, the release states.
The suspects were arrested last week. All were charged on juvenile petitions and released to their parents. They are awaiting initial appearances before the York County Family Court.
