A Rock Hill woman is accused of assaulting her landlord and York County Sheriff’s deputies.
According to a sheriff’s office report, Dona Tiffany Simpson, 35, was intoxicated just after midnight Saturday when she tried starting a fight with her 53-year-old landlord.
Deputies reported that Simpson threw a bed comforter at the victim, while yelling expletives at him. She was arrested and charged with assault and battery third degree.
Once at the York County Detention Center, Simpson reportedly used racial slurs at the arresting deputy, and attempted to strike him. In the interview room, she insulted a deputy and attempted to kick her, the report states.

Simpson then resisted the officers by dropping to the floor, refusing to get up. She continued to make threats against the deputy, and then managed to kick the deputy in the right leg, the report states.
Simpson was given another charge of assault and battery third degree. Police placed her in a restraint chair when she was taken to her cell.
She remains at York County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.
