Deputies continue to search for a Rock Hill woman who is wanted for attempted murder by the York County Sheriff’s Office.
A 51-year-old victim reported on Thursday that Stephanie Hawkins, 34, of Rock Hill stabbed him three times with a filet knife at a Southeastern Road address, according to a sheriff’s office report.
The stabbing resulted from a fight between Hawkins and the victim, the report states. The man was stabbed in the right bicep, upper left and lower right area of his back, the report states. The victim called his girlfriend to take him to Piedmont Medical Center, he told police.
Witnesses at the scene confirmed the victim’s story, according to the report.
Blood was found throughout the residence, and a bloody knife was found in the sink, police say.
Sheriff’s office detective are still conducting an investigation of the situation.
