A South Pointe student is accused of bringing a knife and a digital scale to school.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to see the assistant principal for skipping class on Wednesday afternoon, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
While searching the student’s book bag, officials found a knife with a 6 inch blade. They also discovered tobacco products, a digital scale and two black and gold bandannas in his possession.
The student was arrested by police and charged with carrying a weapon on school grounds. Police released the subject to his mother’s custody.
