A Rock Hill man is accused of trying to steal overalls and bed sheets from Walmart and then injuring two workers as he fled.
Frank Delano Porter III, 22, was reportedly seen Sunday afternoon putting a pair of overalls on, then placing bed sheets down those overalls at the Walmart on Dave Lyle Boulevard, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
When confronted by Walmart employees about the sheets, Porter allegedly charged at them, injuring both employees’ knees and shin. They were able to detain Porter until Rock Hill Police arrived.
Porter admitted to shoplifting but denied to police that he injured the employee. Police reportedly found a 4-inch buck knife in a sheath on Porter’s right hip.

Porter was a conviction of shoplifting from 2011, the report states.
He was cited for carrying an unlawful weapon, shoplifting second offense, assault and two citations for battery third degree, police say.
The overalls and bed sheets were returned to Walmart.
