Police investigate shots fired into Rock Hill home, car
Rock Hill police are investigating shots fired near the Saluda Discount Grocery on Monday evening.
No one was injured, police say.
Police responded to a call from the 900 block of Arch Drive about 7:30 p.m. They founded a Ford Crown Victoria with several bullet holes at the grocery store. The occupants of the vehicle said they heard between five and seven shots, according to a police report.
The police also went to a home in the same block of Arch Drive. A resident told police she heard what sounded like fireworks. Her son ran out of his bedroom saying, “I’ve been shot,” according to the report. He was not injured.
Officers found a hole in the son’s room, as well as a bullet laying on the floor. An outside search reveals several holes consistent with bullet damage, the report states.
Police said the shots likely came from a pistol.
The case is being investigated.
