Oakland Baptist Church wants to make sure that every child in Rock Hill that needs a school uniform is able to get not just one, but two, without putting a financial burden on their families.

So on Wednesday and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., any Rock Hill student in need can come to Oakland’s ministry at 1020 Charlotte Ave. and pick up two uniforms at no cost. Families need only to bring identification to show they live in Rock Hill.

All Rock Hill middle school students wear uniforms, as do students who attend Sunset Park Center for Accelerated Studies.

The ministry has sizes and colors for all schools and sizes.

Clients who have already come to the ministry this quarter for clothing items are still permitted to come in to get uniforms.
