  • Irma doesn't stop York County 9/11 tribute

Many veterans and others, including the widow of the man who started the tradition, honored the fallen from the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on Monday. They waved American flags on the Sutton Road bridge over Interstate 77 Monday morning. The bridge is named for the late Leonard Farrington, who started the tradition after the attacks, and who did it every year on the anniversary.
