ATHENS, Ga. -- Cameron Rundles made both ends of a one-and-one with 3.1 seconds remaining to give Wofford a 60-57 victory over Georgia on Tuesday.
A desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer by Georgia's Trey Thompkins near the Bulldogs bench was no good, as the Terriers posted their first victory over Georgia in eight tries.
Corey Godzinski scored 13 points for Wofford (1-1) and was one of four Terriers in double digits. Jason Dawson added 12 points, Noah Dahlman had 11 and Jamar Diggs chipped in 10.
Georgia (1-1) was led by Travis Leslie, who had 17 points, and Thompkins followed with 14 points. They were the only Bulldogs in double digits.
After trailing in the early minutes, Wofford took the lead with 12:40 remaining in the first half. Although Georgia got within one point on several occasions, the Bulldogs could not catch the Terriers.
LSU 71, WESTERN KENTUCKY 60 — In Baton Rouge, La., Bo Spencer scored a career-high 28 points and made a tie-breaking 3-pointer.
With the score tied at 57, Spencer knocked in a 3-pointer with 2:48 remaining in the second-round game of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Tip-Off. Following a Hilltoppers offensive foul, Dennis Harris dunked to give the Tigers a five-point lead.
Spencer then picked off a pass and drove for a layup. After grabbing a defensive rebound, Spencer clinched the victory by sinking three foul shots. Spencer, who was 8 for 9 at the foul line, also had seven rebounds and four assists.

VIRGINIA TECH 59, UNC GREENSBORO 46 — In Blacksburg, Va., Jeff Allen recorded a double-double and Virginia Tech broke open a tie game with an 11-0 run midway through the second half.
UNC Greensboro tied the game at 38 on a basket by Kyle Randall with 10:48 remaining. But Allen and Malcolm Delaney sparked Virginia Tech's 11-0 run, with Delaney scoring seven of those points.
Delaney's 3-pointer with 6:39 left gave the Hokies a 49-38 lead and the Spartans got no closer than nine points the rest of the way.
Allen finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for his 20th career double-double. Delaney added 17 points for Virginia Tech (2-0) despite going just 6 for 16 from the floor. The Hokies shot just 37.5 percent.
Big South
RADFORD 94, LYNCHBURG 70 — In Radford, Va., Art Parakhouski and Joey Lynch-Flohr each had double-doubles for the fourth consecutive game.
Parakhouski scored 31 points and had 17 rebounds, and Lynch-Flohr added 21 points and added 12 rebounds, giving the duo double-doubles dating back to Radford's win over VMI in the Big South tournament championship game last March.
Parakhouski was 15 for 22 from the field and Lynch-Flohr was 7 for 10 for the Highlanders (2-0).
Phillip Martin scored 13 and Jeremy Robinson and Blake Smith had 10 points each for Radford, which shot 53.2 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line (24-for-30).
KC Mendez scored 14 points for the Division III Hornets (1-1), going 3-for-5 from 3-point range. Michael Wims added 13, going 6 for 9 from the field.
FURMAN 68, PRESBYTERIAN 64 — In Greenville, Amu Saaka scored a career-high 29 points and Furman rallied to defeat Presbyterian.
The Blue Hose (0-2) jumped out to a 21-8 lead and went into halftime with a 33-30 advantage.
The Paladins (2-0) tied the score at 36 on two Saaka free throws with 18:03 left, then neither team scored for about 2 minutes. They stayed within a point of each other until Saaka made a 3-pointer for a 47-43 lead with 9:52 to go.
