FORT MILL, S.C. -- In a game that featured four lead changes, Toledo used a solo home run by Dane Sardinha in the top of the ninth to defeat Charlotte 6-5. Sardinha's walk-off homer concluded a rally by the Mud Hens, who trailed the Knights 5-3 going into the eighth.

The game featured a rehab start by Detroit Tigers pitcher Dontrelle Willis who pitched 5 2/3 innings giving up seven hits, five runs--all of the earned--and three strikeouts on the night.

Two of those runs occurred in the second when Knights 1B Brad Eldred--the IL Batter of the Week--and 3B Royce Huffman hit back-to-back solo shots to give Charlotte an early 2-0 lead.

Toledo tied things up in the fourth with a two-run shot to tie the game at 2-2.

Preston Larrison (2-1, 1.53) picked up the win for the Mud Hens, while Blaine Neal (S, 13, 1.84) picked up his 13th save of the season. Jason Childers (1-1, 1.17) took the loss for the Knights.

Charlotte begins a four-game series with the Syracuse Chiefs on today at 7:15 p.m.

Charlie Haeger (2-3, 6.11) will start for Charlotte. Davis Romero (0-2, 4.29) will take the mound for the Chiefs.
